Hallgarten & Novum signs UK distribution deal for Jim Barry Wines

Hallgarten & Novum Wines has signed a deal as the exclusive UK distributor of Jim Barry Wines, taking over from Negociants UK.

The deal, which takes effect from June 2018, will see Hallgarten take on distribution across both the off and on-trade for the Australian family winery’s entire portfolio, including Armagh Shiraz, Florita Riesling and the recently released Assyrtiko.

Jim Barry Wines was “truly the icing on the cake for our already enviable Australian portfolio that demonstrates the regional diversity of the country”, said Jim Wilson, Hallgarten’s portfolio director.

“We are thrilled to be taking over the distribution of one of Australia’s greatest wineries,” he added.

Jim Barry, which produces fruit from vinicultural holdings at 12 locations in the Clare Valley totalling more than 250 hectares alongside two properties totalling 35 hectare in Coonawarra, joins Hallgarten’s existing Australian portfolio including Larry Cherubino, Berton Vineyards and clos Clare.
