Guerrieri Rizzardi revamps DOC Classico range

Published:  18 January, 2007

The historic Italian wine producer Guerrieri Rizzardi has unveiled a new modern look across its four DOC Classico estate wines in a bid to better relate to today's wine consumer.

The wines: Soave, Bardolino Chiaretto (Ros), Bardolino and Valpolicella will be available in market in the new packaging from May.

Head of the family-owned company, Contessa Maria Cristina Rizzardi, comments, "We've been making top quality Italian wines in the Veneto for centuries, but we felt it was time to create a more modern identity that better reflects the clean, approachable style of the wines themselves."

In a bold step-change from the more traditional look usually associated with this historical estate, Guerrieri Rizzardi has introduced clean, minimilist, colour-coded labels with metallic text to maximise shelf standout.

The use of the family crest has been retained to highlight the heritage of the brand whilst the DOC name is more clearly emphasised than before in bold lettering at the base of each label. RSPs start at 7.49.
