Portland Wine Gear has launched The Wine Safe, which is made with aircraft-grade aluminium' and is designed to protect wine from the temperature and pressure variations in aircraft luggage holds.
Company co-owner Tom Harvey says: Don't be fooled by plastic and nylon carrying cases. Plastic can crack and break, while nylon tears easily.'
