SUPERMODEL JODIE KIDD SAYS, 'I DID IT MOET'

Mot & Chandon has taken over the largest Christmas window display at Selfridges in London, to recreate the scene backstage at London Fashion Week, with models preparing for the catwalk. The 400ft 2 window on the corner of Oxford and Orchard Streets is said to be the busiest shopping corner in Europe, with more than 50,000 people passing by every day. At the official unveiling last Tuesday, British supermodel Jodie Kidd was there in the window sipping Mini Mot Ros through a straw, while the finishing touches to her make-up were made, just as if she were about to strut down the catwalk. Kidd was wearing the Julien Macdonald-designed dress covered in Swaroski crystals that was specially commissioned by Mot on behalf of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. In the run-up to Christmas, three or four other top models will be in the window having their make-up done each Saturday lunch time. As part of the same promotion, Mot has opened a Champagne bar in the lingerie department on the third floor at Selfridges, where customers can buy Brut Imprial and Brut Imprial Ros by the glass or bottle. Selfridges account holders who spend more than 150 on their store card on any one visit will be given a four-pack of Mini Mot Ros in an offer that runs for two months, until 4 January.
