Broadland announces new hire to develop branded offering

Published:  15 February, 2019

Broadland Wineries has appointed Charles Cutteridge in order to “drive imported wine sales and to develop new wine brands for the business”.

Formerly a Majestic buyer responsible for rosé, Southern France, Australia and the Loire valley, Cutteridge focused on developing private and own label brands for the retailer.

“I’ve enjoyed my four years at Majestic and have learned so much about developing brands that really engage with consumers,” said Cutteridge. “I relish the challenge ahead and look forward to working with the Broadland team, who have a track record of creating exciting new brands for all tastes.”

Charles started his new role as Broadland wine buyer on 12 February 2019, working alongside Dr Arabella Woodrow MW and reporting into head of procurement Jonathan Skinner.

“Charles is an important addition to our team,” said Skinner. “His expertise, combined with our customer insight, will enable us to develop more innovative and interesting products for the wine category – in addition to our Proudly Vegan and Minivino brands which are currently our fastest growing products.”
