The Wine Show partners with Oval Space to launch London wine festival

Published:  30 May, 2018

The Wine Show has joined forces with Oval Space to launch a three-day wine festival in the capital.

The Wine Show Live event, running from the 10th to 12th of August, will be hosted by the Channel 5 show’s presenters - Joe Fattorini and Amelia Singer - who will be joined by 11 producers from around the world.

Designed to captivate wine lovers from “aficionados to novices”, the event will include masterclasses by the hosts who will share their favourite bottles and food and wine stories, in addition to the producers showcasing their top picks.

“You’ll discover the most beautiful wine destinations. You’ll meet the wine producers and share their lifestyle, as well as discover the captivating stories behind the labels,” said the show.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy a menu curated by the show’s in-house chefs.

Referring to Wine Show Live as “a bit of an extension" of what had happened since the first TV show, Fattorini said: “Lots of people get in touch on social media and ask what we’re drinking or what’s good and we’ve done great masterclasses and events with Celebrity Cruises that have been really popular too.”

Wine Show Live meant meeting more people, and sharing a glass or two with viewers who’ve enjoyed the programme, he added. “I really hope it’s the first of many."

In January this year, The Wine Show revealed it had signed a three-year deal with Wine Rack, which includes the programme recommending a selection of Wine Rack wines throughout the year, while encouraging viewers to explore new tastes and countries featured in the series.
