New private club appoints wine director for Château Latour partnership

Published:  31 January, 2017

A new members club which is set to heavily feature Château Latour wines when it opens later this year has secured a wine director.

Jan Konetzki is set to move from Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea where he worked as head sommelier, to join new Ten Trinity Square Private Club when it opens in the second quarter of 2017.

In the new role, Konetzki will oversee a special wine programme and create wine lists for the restaurants at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square.

The club will feature a dedicated Château Latour Discovery Room, marking the first time the estate's name has been used away from the Latour vineyard in Pauillac.

A former recipient of the Harpers Best Sommelier Award, Konetzki will oversee a selection of Château Latour wines for members who will be able to access limited vintages.

"There are very few opportunities like this in the wine world and it is an honour to work alongside Château Latour and to be part of such an exciting project from the beginning," said Konetzki, who will also serve as an ambassador for Château Latour and Artemis Domaines.
