Most Read: This week we said a very heartfelt farewell to Ben Campbell-Johnston, who sadly passed away at the weekend. Tributes have been pouring in for the b.f.t co-founder who was best known for his love and support of the fortified category.

There were changes at the the IWC, where two new co-chairs took over from Sam Harrop MW, who stepped down to work on different projects and to spend more time with his family in New Zealand.

We also took a closer look at how Costa's plan to pilot selling wine in their cafes is blurring the lines of the standard on-trade wine model.

Supermarkets: M&S and Aldi showed the strongest performance according to new data, showing that the market is being driving at the top end and in the discounter section of the market.

Meanwhile, Morrisons' focus on offering an expanded seasonal range paid off with a welcome boost from during Halloween, and Waitrose revealed how the G&T has become the ultimate vehicle for self-expression.
