Think Indie Drink Indie: Both Harpers and Off Licence News came together to host a one day conference focusing on how the independent sector might continue to thrive.  The conference offered two mastercalsses as well as hosting two big debates, all of which were aimed at giving independent merchants food for thought as look at new and innovative ways to connect with consumers.

Other Top News: In other news this week, it has been another busy seven days in the wine trade. Congrats to all those that took home gongs from last week's International Wine Challenge 2016 and if you missed it check out who won. Another top story was that the University of Adelaide just launched a FREE six week long online wine course that has already had 10,000 enrollees registered. It might be a great way to help get new business associates who may not know much about wine and winemaking up to speed quickly with no cost to you. Sicilian wine producer Planeta is diversifying their business to help expansion.
