Northern Ireland's Rademon Estate Distillery has launched a limited edition cask-aged expression of its award-winning Shortcross Gin.
Only 160 bottles of Cask Aged Shortcross Gin will be available on the mainland through an exclusive partnership with Fortnum and Mason, where it be February's Spirit of the Month.
A further 300 bottles will be released through JN Wines, Rademon Estate's distribution partner Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The expression has been created by resting Shortcross Gin in French oak casks from Bordeaux's Chateau de La Ligne that had previously contained the Chateau Cuvée Prestige.
David Boyd-Armstrong, Rademon's head distiller and operations director, said: "As the distillery has grown and developed we have been experimenting with ageing spirits in a variety of different casks and I am delighted with the results of this Cask Aged Shortcross Gin."
Fiona Boyd-Armstrong, Rademon's managing director, said, said: "Our aim is to become Ireland's leading craft distillery and we are delighted to have added an exciting new addition to our growing portfolio.
"We have an excellent relationship with Fortnum and Mason and felt this was a fantastic opportunity to launch our latest product into the London market as their Spirit of the Month in February."
The copper foil on Shortcross Gin's traditional label has been replaced with Fortnum & Mason's iconic duck-egg blue as a tribute to the partnership.
Founded in 2012 by husband and wife team Fiona and David Boyd-Armstrong in Downpatrick, County Down, Rademon Estate Distillery is Northern Ireland's first and only craft distillery.
Future plans for the estate include a visitors centre, which is due to open later in 2016, and an Irish malt whisky.
The whisky was laid down last year and is expected to have its initial release in 2018.
Cask Aged Shortcross Gin has an abv of 44% and will retail at £40 for a 70cl bottle.
