Daniel said: "This is frontier country and, right now, the most exciting wine region in South Africa.
"It is the home of bush vines and dry-farmed vineyards which use the natural contours of the land and the unforgiving climate to give great fruit: Chenins with unusual depth of flavour, Sauvignons singing with fruit, inky Mourvèdres and juicy, moreish Carignans."
Wilson added: "The buzz about Swartland is huge in the UK just now: incredible winemaking talent and exciting and individual wines - but the reality is that volumes can be limited and pricing premium.
"Not so with Swartland Winery: their flexibility, access to top quality grapes and production capabilities give us the very best this cutting edge wine region can offer, but in a way that meets the commercial needs of the UK market."
