The Beaujolais wine region has committed to run a generic campaign in the UK for the next three years - and will enter the Republic of Ireland for the first time.
Interprofessional body Inter Beaujolais has reappointed London-based PR agency Westbury Communications to handle the programme.
The UK campaign will include press relations, an educational seminar a mini tasting for trade professionals, and a presence at consumer fairs.
The Irish campaign will focus on building trade and press relations through a press trip, a trade dinner and trade seminar.
Inter Beaujolais director Jean Bourjade said: "We decided to have a dedicated campaign for Ireland following a number of successful years exhibiting at Taste of Dublin.
"This is a very dynamic and vibrant market and we look forward to bringing our wines to the attention of the wider trade and consumers."
Westbury is asking members of the trade who import Beaujolais wines into either country to get in touch to ensure their wines are included in the campaign.
