The Benevolent is encouraging the drinks trade to reward well performing staff with a night out at the industry charity's ball at London's Dorchester hotel on March 12.

Guests will be encouraged to get involved in the charity's new 'Here to Help' campaign which looks to raise the profile and awareness of the work the Benevolent does in supporting those in the trade that have fallen on hard times. David Cox, chief executive of The Benevolent, hopes the event will not only be a chance for drinks companies to entertain major clients but also reward key members of their staff for the work they have done.

As well as a gourmet four course meal there will also be the chance to dance the night away later thanks to Ewan Murray, of The Wine Society, who will be performing with his band Chapter Eight a 10-piece band which promises to play "the very best dance music from the last six decades". Murray will be showing off his singing and keyboard skills.

Magician Jamie Raven will once again by performing his eye popping tricks table to table and there will be the chance to take part in the all important Benevolent Auction and raise money for the charity by bidding for luxury trips, events and wine and spirits related treats.

Cox added:  "We are incredibly excited that Ewan Murray and his band will be performing at The Ball. It is people like Ewan who make our drinks industry so convivial and fun. I would like to encourage decision makers within the trade to invite along key personnel from their organisations as well. A ticket to the Ball is the perfect way to reward employees that have made a valuable contribution to your business whilst supporting vulnerable colleagues facing medical or financial hardship."

Murray said: "The Benevolent Ball is the best party in town, and we're so looking forward to this gig. Get ready to dance the night away!"

Tickets are £220 to non-Benevolent members and £210 to members of staff from corporate partners or Individual members and can be purchased online at https://benevolentball2015.eventbrite.co.uk or by emailing eleanor.perry@thebenevolent.org.uk
