Buyers that have signed up to the inaugural Wine Buyers' Forum to be held in Windsor next March have on average over £2 million worth of buying power each.
The event, being organised by Harpers Wine & Spirits' publishers, William Reed Business media, will bring buyers and suppliers together over a special two day event, between March 10-11, desigend to provide them with the environment to hold meetings, network and better understand each other needs.
The Wine Buyers' Forum will allow buyers to set up a series of individual meetings with suppliers and producers through a computerised booking system across the two days as well as take part in seminar sessions and discussion groups looking at key issues involved in the process of buying wine. Each buyer will be provided with a personalised diary of appointments and meetings with suppliers.
Buyers and suppliers will have the opportnity to arrange up to 18 meetings of up to 25 minutes each over the course of the two days.

With only 50 available spaces for suppliers and producers, buyers will be able to target those companies that best suit their needs.
Buyers already signed up to attend the event include leading players from Oddbins, Pernod Ricard, Greene King, Claridge's, Direct Wines, Laithwaite's, Jeroboams, Jascots, Hallgarten Druitt, the Camino Restaurant Group, Oxford Wine Company, Taurus Wines and Vagabond Wines.
The event will be held at Beaumont Estate in Windsor between March 10 and March 11.
