Throughout this month the Sud de France Festival will be celebrating the wines of Languedoc-Roussillon, the largest wine-producing region of France.

Running until June 29, the festival has returned to London for the fourth year and will see wine experts Isabelle Legeron, Simon Woods, Sarah Jane Evans and Michelle Cherutti Kowal hosting masterclasses at events across the city.

Sud de France has also teamed up with wine writer Simon Woods to run WSET tasting classes during the festival. The class on June 18 will look at the Crus Classés of Languedoc and on June 25 visitors can explore the niche appellations of the region (tickets cost £25).

Maison de la Région Languedoc-Roussillon will be a safe haven for those wishing to escape Euro 2012 on June 19 with a Girls Night In hosted by natural wine advocate Isabelle Legeron MW. Tickets cost £10 in advance and include 12 wines plus cheese.

The festivities will continue from June 21-24 when Sud de France takes up residence at Taste of London in Regent's Park. The Sud de France Wine Experience terrace will offer a selection of the region's wines to purchase by the glass or bottle/case.

Other events taking place include a boules tournament at Balls Brothers, Hays Galleria on June 16, hosted by Joe Wadsack and Cook, Eat & Run classes at L'atelier des Chefs every lunchtime during the festival.
