Dan Jago at Tesco, Chris Mason at First Drinks and Simon Thomas at Pernod Ricard are three of the leading figures from across the drinks industry who will look at the main challenges facing the industry as part of the Harpers Debate at the London International Wine Fair on May 18.

They will join up with Nick Mantella of Cordoniu, Robin Copestick of Copestick Murray and Kevin Shaw of Stranger & Stranger design agency to discuss steps being taken to help drive more profit and margin through the drinks supply chain.

The Harpers Debate, which takes place between 11.30am and 12.45pm on stand Q75, will discuss the theme: "It is the best of times, it is the worst of times. For many the trading conditions within the sector have never been more difficult, made worse with the latest round of duty rises, but for others the sector is more open to new ideas and ways of working than ever before."

The results of the Innovation for the Nation competition to win a listing in 100 Tesco stores, organised by Harpers, Tesco and Stranger & Stranger, will also be announced during the session.

You can sign up to attend the debate by emailing Julie.cresswell@wrbm.com
