Naked Wines and Mumsnet team up for 'retox' wine club.

Published:  22 February, 2011

Online wine retailer Naked Wines is teaming up with Mumsnet.com to launch a 'retox' wine club.

Expanding its popular food pages, that receive 160,000 hits per month, Mumsnet are hoping to consolidate their position as the go-to destination for parents looking for culinary inspiration.

Justine Roberts, chief executive officer and founder of Mumsnet, said: "With over 1000 recipes and webchats, including Jamie Oliver and Anthony Worral Thompson, Mumsnet has long been a favourite for parents looking for great cooking ideas.

"With wine of the month, and many other offers, we'll be working hard to offer our 1.25 million Mumsnetters quality wine to enjoy in their own home."

Rowan Gormley, founder of Naked Wines, said he's been eager to work with Mumsnet ever since he googled "how to bleed a boiler" and found the answer on its forums. "It just seemed to me like such a good match. Our mums make wine, Mumsnet mums drink wine and I'm really looking forward to our two online communities working together."

To launch the new partnership, Naked Wines are offering 100 Mumsnetters a free case of wine to review, courtesy of Mum-to-be winemaker Heidi Seifried.

Heidi will be introducing her wines to the Mumsnet community via a live webchat from New Zealand, March 24.
