Irish whiskey brand Jameson is again using film as a way of engaging with its audience.

Irish whiskey brand Jameson is again using film as a way of engaging with its audience.

The Pernod Ricard brand has unveiled a second season of the Jameson Cult Film Club, screening films in atmospheric venues and offering samples to the target audience of 25 to 34-year-old men.

New for this season are celebrity curators Riz Ahmed, Stephen Graham and Matt Greenhalgh, who have helped curate the screenings being shown in their home cities of London, Liverpool and Manchester respectively.

Jameson has also introduced a selection of new winter serves, many of which will be available for attendees to try at the Jameson Cult Film Club events.

The Jameson Cult Film Club has just presented its Halloween series with showings of Quatermass and the Pit, The Amityville Horror and Psycho at the Union Chapel in London. The club runs until March and will feature movies such as Aliens, Control and a Future Cult.

Patrick Venning, head of marketing for Jameson at Pernod Ricard UK, said: "Cult films are highly relevant to our target audience and the events promote the modern, sociable elements of Jameson Irish whiskey. The events also provide a unique setting in which Jameson is delivered to consumers in a memorable environment."
