Constellation to end Aussie share listing

Published:  24 August, 2010

Wine producer Constellation Brands is to voluntarily drop is listing on the Australian Stock Exchange.

The company - whose brands include Robert Mondavi, Hardys and Nobilo - said it was making the move because its shares are so thinly traded in Australia, "coupled with the additional complexity of administration and compliance with the listing".

Constellation said it was taking steps to delist from the Australian Securities Exchange by the end of its current fiscal year, on February 28, 2011.

The move will not affect Constellation's New York listing.
