Documentary push for Olmeca Tequila

Published:  17 August, 2010

Olmeca Tequila has produced a series of documentaries to educate consumers about the history of the category and its relevance to the London bar scene.

The five Olmeca Altos Short Films feature Henry Besant and Dre Masso from the Worldwide Cocktail Club as they travel across the Los Altos region in western-central Mexico, as well as visiting the eponymous town of Tequila.

The pair also take a look at modern uses of the Agave plant and the tezontle stone, before returning to London to observe how the category has affected the vibrant bar scene.

The films will be launched from September to November on the Tahona Society's Facebook page, YouTube, Vimeo, the Olmeca and Tahona Society websites, iTunes, as well as various cocktail blogs.

Olmeca sits in Pernod Ricard´s international spirits portfolio and is available in over 80 countries worldwide.
