Malibu launches TV show

The Pernod Ricard owned brand, Malibu is to launch a new TV show.

'Malibu presents Boom TV' on 4Music and KISS TV will run for a total of 12 weeks and reach a total of 4.4m young adults.

Aimed at 22-25 year-old consumers, it will demonstrate its finger on the pulse approach to this summer's urban music by delivering some of the biggest names in RnB including: Professor Green, Tinchy Stryder, Kano, and Roll Deep.

Along with special mixology features and a selection of the best music videos, it aims to embody the infectious spirit of Malibu, whilst providing a British take.

The campaign will also support its Shake It and Snowflake TV advertising released earlier this year and Maliboom-Boom radio activity launched on Kiss FM.

It will broadcast at 9pm every Thursday from August 5, and will be repeated on Saturday nights on Kiss TV.

Patrick Venning, head of marketing for lifestyle spirits at Pernod Ricard UK, says it will give an opportunity to showcase the brand's infectious and playful spirit to thousands of target consumers during the summer.

"With Boom TV helping to drive consumers in-store, retailers have a chance to capitalise on a strong sales opportunity."
