Basque wines to come to London in one-day event

Wines from the Basque region will be coming to the London in a one-day event in order to raise awareness within the UK.

Wine buyers and commentators from across the retail, hospitality, leisure and wholesale industries are invited to attend 'Seek the Sensational' - an exclusive tasting aimed at showcasing the many undiscovered wines from Spain's Basque country, as well as some of the more familiar names from the region.

The trade exhibition, organised by the Basque Government and held on July 7, at Lord's Cricket Ground, will offer attendees an opportunity to meet with more than 35 of the region's winemakers and taste the latest wines from the areas of Rioja Alavesa and Txakoli.

In addition, visitors will be treated to an informative speaker programme featuring industry experts from the Basque region and the UK.

Trade professionals will also have the chance to win a VIP visit to the Basque country.
