Pernod Ricard UK announces redundancies

Pernod Ricard UK has announced it is looking to make around 20 staff redundant.

In a short statement released this afternoon the company stated:
"Pernod Ricard UK announced today it is undergoing a restructure of its sales, marketing and communication functions.

"The proposed restructure may result in around 20 redundancies and the organisation is therefore undergoing a formal consultation process."

The company said it was not able to comment further on the announcement and that more details will be announced once it has had the opportunity to discuss the situation with staff.
