The company handles around 7,000 cases of wine each week for wine merchants such as Boutinot, Yapp Brothers and Laithwaites in Europe delivering wine imports to the UK from Europe.

Part of their operation provides logistics to the International Wine Challenge by collecting entries from wine producing companies around the world and delivering them direct to London.

Jamie Cuthbert managing director of Geodis UK, said: " We have worked hard to establish this particular area of business, investing in personnel and processes to ensure optimum supply chain performance for our customers.
