Consejo Regulador Denominaci?n de Origen Navarra (CRDO) and the Association of Navarran Wineries has announced an autumn trade and press campaign for the UK.

Building on the press tastings held over the past two years this new campaign will run from September through to the end of the year, concentrating on developing stronger links with the UK trade and press.

The activity will comprise three trade and press tastings and three trips to the region. The tastings will be held in London, Manchester and Edinburgh consecutively from November 10. The activity will promote the wines of 18 bodegas, 14 of which currently have UK representation.

Pilar García, president of the CRDO Navarra, said: "We are delighted to be able to be working in the UK again this year. The UK market has always been a very important market for us and we realise the need to promote a stronger message to the broader trade about the quality and diversity of Navarran wines.

"We have a lot of great stories to tell and a lot of great wines to be tasted, what we aim to do with this activity is give the British trade and press the opportunity to do just that."
