ST AUSTELL GETS JOLLY

Published:  23 July, 2008

St Austell Brewery has acquired the Somerset depot of Jolly's, the drinks firm with depots across the Southwest. St Austell Brewery already has a well-established business across Devon and Cornwall, where it has a significant turnover from supplying beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and mixers to the free-trade market, which it claims to lead. It also supplies its own holding of 152 pubs in the Southwest. The Somerset acquisition enables St Austell Brewery to extend its service to a new territory, and to offer an enhanced range of products to the Jolly's client list.Sales director Ian Blunt said: We will be holding stock of all national brands of beers, wines, spirits and minerals, as well as many regional brands.'
