International Wine Services has launched babe Chardonnay, which leads with a bottle copy line of, for the girl that wants it all'. The lightly oaked, easy drinking dry white wine' from California's Central Valley is available in Sainsbury's at 3.99. Following Marc Xero and Deep Purple, and working with the Face Value research commissioned by Waverley Group, the product has been designed to meet the needs of the Chardonnay Girls', as revealed in Waverley's research last year at the London International Wine & Spirits Fair. The opaque pink bottle boasts high shelf impact and uncluttered imagery, says the company. Since IWS winemaker Kym Milne MW was involved in the babe winemaking project with Golden State Vintners, we are confident that babe will meet consumers' expectations,' said John Brooks, IWS' trade marketing manager.
