CANCER RESEARCH CLIMB

Published:  23 July, 2008

Richard Cochrane (Bibendum national accounts), Alex Smith (Valdivieso UK brand manager at Bibendum), Patrick McGrath (Hatch Mansfield's MD) and fashion pundit Jimmy Docherty, MD of Georgina von Etzdorf, are pictured (left to right) before setting off to climb Cerro Aconcagua, South America's highest mountain. The team were aiming to raise 30,000 for the Paediatric Oncology Team at The Institute of Cancer Research, which is in desperate need of funds. Cochrane said: I have been lucky to survive cancer and I want children to be given as much chance as possible if they get this disease.' All are experienced climbers, but Aconcagua will be the highest any of the five have climbed (6,962 metres). Donations, in the form of cheques payable to The Institute of Cancer Research', can be sent to Richard Cochrane at: Bibendum Wine Agencies, 113 Regents Park Road, London NW1 8UR.
