Bloomberg, the financial information company, has placed the Bordeaux Index trading screen on its company terminal and made it available to all its subscribers, so that they can follow the fluctuations in Bordeaux en primeur 2000 prices. 'This means that financial and banking professionals from around the world will have access to our live trading screen in a way that will only further endorse the market-making nature of this service,' said Bordeaux Index director, Andrew Davison. Bordeaux Index has also launched Winewatch, which it claims is a 'comprehensive news, weather and wine review service'. It includes weather reports from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Napa, written by John Salvi MW. Each of these regions is also discussed in a vintage report, summarising the information on rainfall, days of sun, frost, hail, etc.
