Seven spirits to star in TV soap

Product placement deal signed between Ian Macleod Distillers and ITV soap, Emmerdale.
From September the soap's Woolpack pub will display Glengoyne whisky, Langs, Isle of Skye, Smokehead and The Six Isles whiskies plus Watson's Trawler Rum and London Hill gin.
The brands may also be seen in other parts of the set.
Marketing director Iain Weir said: "Emmerdale has become a very popular institution in the UK, and we couldn't be happier that our products will be reaching a daily audience of over 10 million viewers."
