Ardbeg's latest special Committee bottling

Published:  23 July, 2008

Islay whisky producer Ardbeg has launched the latest in its series of special Committee bottlings. Young Uigeadail (Gallic for dark, mysterious place'), or Oogling', as it is also known, is a six-year-old whisky that is matured in Sherry butts.

Uigeadail is the loch north of the distillery, and is the source of water for all Ardbeg whiskies.

Bottled at the cask strength of 59.5% abv, Oogling is available exclusively to members of the Ardbeg Committee, or direct from the distillery, at 29.99 for a 70cl bottle.

The original Uigeadail is available at Oddbins, priced at 36.99.
