Drayton Bird teams up with NZ

Marketing guru Drayton Bird is to give a one-day seminar on wine marketing on 27 June, sponsored by New Zealand Winegrowers.

Held at New Zealand House in London, the seminar will cover various topics such as how much you should spend on marketing'; how you get ideas'; and what's missing from 90% of messages'.

Event organiser Judy Kendrick said: A one-day seminar with Bird normally costs 500 to 600, and sometimes more. But we want to make this seminar affordable for everyone. So, with the help of New Zealand Winegrowers, we are offering this day for just 195.'

The organisers are also offering a 30 travel bursary for those who live more than 100 miles from London.

Drayton Bird has previously worked with Kendall-Jackson, Berry Brothers and Virgin, among others. He is acknowledged as one of the world authorities on direct marketing and was named by the Chartered Institute of Marketing as one of the 50 individuals who have shaped today's marketing'.
