Winetraders introduces Bellone and Nero Buono to the UK

Published:  13 February, 2019

Winetraders has added a Bellone and a Nero Buono from the Cincinnato winery to its portfolio.

The winery is located in the DOC of Cori in Lazio, at the foothills of the Lepini mountains, about an hour south of Rome, where the climate is “especially mild”.

Founded in 1947 it’s considered a benchmark cooperative for the region with 550 ha of land, 100 of which are farmed organically, and 130 growers.

“We are delighted to introduce these unique wines from forward-thinking cooperative, Cincinnato, to our portfolio, as they offer unbeatable value and a genuine point of difference,” said managing director, Michael Palij MW.

Winetraders is the first to import wines made from Bellone and Nero Buono to the UK. It said Palij has been “preparing for Brexit by finding wines such as these that deliver outstanding value under £10 RRP at the current exchange rate”.

The wines will be stocked by Rare & Organic and Roberts & Speight with an RRP of £9.99.
