SITT set for Leeds launch as it gears up for Autumn tastings

Specialist Importers Trade Tastings (SITT) is gearing up for its popular Autumn tastings including its first event in Leeds.

The independent merchant-focused tastings kick off in London (24 September) closely followed by Leeds two days later (26 September).

At the London tasting, Harpers 50 Best Indies survey will be revealed, with both events focused on a Christmas.

The aim was to help visitors in their Christmas shopping search, said owner and Harpers publisher Agile Media.

“We are thinking Champagnes, we are thinking Port, we are thinking wines that are perfect for gifting and we are thinking of those wines that match perfectly with festive feasts. We are looking to you our importers to select those wines from your selection that you think fit the occasion and should be on every independent buyers Christmas wish list.”

Visitors to either of the tastings, which will both feature a free-pour zone where buyers can freely taste exhibitors’ highlighted wines, will also be able to participate in various masterclasses hosted by wine experts, such as Dr Jamie Goode.
