New Generation: Order Office Administrator

New Generation is an innovative, responsive, dynamic agent and wholesaler importing an exciting range of wines, champagnes and spirits from forward thinking, inspirational producers.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic office administrator to join our expanding company. Working within our orders department, the role will be both supplier and customer facing and requires a person who has experience of purchase and sales order processing, is able to work quickly yet efficiently and enjoys being part of a small, friendly team.

The role would be based in our London office, approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Waterloo Station.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:-

  • Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner
  • Strong IT skills, competency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • A highly organised approach
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience of drinks industry computer systems (preferably Vintner, though training will be given)
  • Wine Trade qualifications would be beneficial although not necessary
