Platter's five-star wines announced

A total of 11 wines have been awarded the coveted five-star rating in the 2006 John Platter South African Wine Guide.
Around 70 wines were shortlisted for the top rating, but in the end four whites, four reds and three dessert wines made the cut.
They include:
2004 Sadie Family Palladius;
2005 Steenberg Semillon;
2004 Glen Carlou Syrah;
2002 Rijk's Cabernet S; and
2003 De Kranz Vintage Reserve.
