Le Vignoble reveals plans for second outlet

Published:  24 October, 2017

Hybrid wine business Le Vignoble has revealed it is to open its second outlet as part of a growth strategy to reach five stores within the next few years.

The business, which first set up its 'wine bar come wine merchant' concept in Plymouth in 2012, is poised to open a new outlet in Bath at the beginning of next year.

The new premises would work in the same way as the original outlet, featuring wine lounge, retail & education areas, but the lounge element would play the main role in Bath, said the business.

“We want to respect the wine scene which already exists in Bath, so we can complement the other wine businesses rather than compete with them,” said founder Yannick Loué.

The opening formed part of plans to have a portfolio of five premises across the South West within the next few years, he said.

“We have had a few delays with finding the right place and property hence why it has taken so long for number two,” he added.

The new outlet in Milsom Place will offer 32 different wines by the taster/glass at any time, plus many more by the bottle to drink in or take away, alongside small plates of French tapas sourced direct from the famous Rungis market in Paris.
