Newly created position for HBJ in Asia Pacific & New Senior Brands Manager for HBJ London.

Published:  23 July, 2008

Miranda Hayman, previously Senior Brands Manager at Hayman Barwell Jones, London, has relocated to Hong Kong to open up the first office outside the UK for sister company Hayman Distillers incorporating HBJ wines. Miranda takes up the newly created role of Director of Sales and Marketing Asia Pacific and will be responsible for expanding business in Asia for Hayman Distillers brands - including Hayman 1820, the first ever Gin Liqueur as well as developing global markets for HBJ's brand Firebird Legend from Moldova.

Miranda comments, "It is increasingly apparent that Asia is becoming an important area for drinks companies and we believe that both Firebird Legend and the Hayman Distillers portfolio have tremendous potential here. Being based in Hong Kong will enable us to be both pro-active and hands-on in developing this growing market."

Belinda Stone, previously at Berkmann Wine Cellars, takes up the Senior Brands Manager position at HBJ London. Belinda joined Berkmann Wine Cellars in 20-02 as Marketing and Events Coordinator, and within a year worked her way up to the position of Brand Manager Argentina and France. Prior to this, she worked in the Education Department of Christie's organising the wine tasting courses and master classes.

Miranda comments, "Belinda's marketing and brand management experience puts her in a strong position to help HBJ continue the drive forward with our key agencies such as Trapiche from Argentina, The Crossings from New Zealand and Moldova's Firebird Legend Brand."
