Antinori's grand designs

Published:  23 July, 2008

One of Italy's top architects is designing Piero and Lodovico Antinori's Maremma joint venture, Tenuta Campo di Sasso.

Milan-based Gae Aulenti has an impressive CV, having worked on the Pompidou Centre in Paris and the Palazzo Grassi in Venice.

The winery will be open in a couple of years' time. At present, the vinification of the Insoglio del Cinghiale is carried out in a warehouse in Bibbona. When the new cellar is complete, a second wine will be released: Il Pino di Biserno along with a premium Il Biserno, to be released in 2008.
