Krug releases 1996 vintage

Champagne house Krug has released its 1996 vintage with its flagship cuve Clos du Mesnil 1996 also hitting the shelves.
The late Paul Krug was so impressed by the newly fermented wnes in 1996 that he said: "I think this may well be the next 1928."
The 1996 vintage has an RRP of 145 and the Clos du Mesnil 1996 will set you back 500.
