Harvey yourself a merry Christmas

Harveys festive triple pack contains 10cl bottles of Bristol Cream, Pale Cream and Amontillado, and retails at 6.99.

Cockburn's is offering a Christmas twin pack, containing a Cockburn's Special Reserve and LBV, each 37.5cl. It has an RRP of 11.99.

The Sherry and Port packs are both available at Sainsbury's.

POP open the Champagne

Champagne house Pommery has added a gold 20cl bottle to its POP art series for Christmas. It follows the most recent POP art series, which featured six jungle-inspired bottle designs. POP Gold will be sold exclusively in Selfridges in the run-up to Christmas at 10.99.

A grand year for LP

The Laurent Perrier Grand Sicle Christmas Gift Box includes two engraved crystal Champagne glasses, a Laurent Perrier ice bucket with leather handle and a 75cl bottle of its flagship wine, Grand Sicle. The box comes hand-tied with a Laurent Perrier ribbon. It is available from Selfridges and Oddbins, priced at 99.99.

Mosaic gifts

Champagne house Jacquart has produced two gift tins for its Mosaque range of cuves this Christmas. Christopher Lagrange, sales and marketing director for Champagne Jacquart, said: Presentation packaging encourages gifting purchase, which is so crucial at Christmas time.'

The brut cuves will come in a blue and silver tin and the ross will come in pink and silver. The 1998 Vintage Ros and Brut are available from Majestic - both priced at 33.99. The Brut NV will be sold at Majestic and Oddbins, for between 19.99 and 24.99.

Less mess at Christmas

Dropstop - the circular discs which roll up to fit in the top of a bottle to stop drips - have gone festive. Instead of the usual silver, there are six designs, including Santa on his sleigh and a fat Christmas pudding.

A musical feast

For wine lovers there's something a bit different this Christmas: a CD entitled Music from the Wine Lands, a compilation of traditional tunes from the wine regions of the New and Old Worlds. Gift packs a go-go for Pernod

Pernod Ricard UK has been busy creating a host of gift packs for its Jacob's Creek and Campo Viejo brands.

Jacob's Creek comes in three different gift packs for the Christmas campaign. The first contains a bottle of sparkling Chardonnay/Pinot Noir in a branded tube with an RRP of 7.99 and is available in Tesco and Co-op. A sparkling twin pack and still twin pack are both cash & carry only. Food matching suggestions are included in the pack.

Campo Viejo packs come in four different formats. Prices start at 6.99 for a Cava gift box available in Sainsbury's, Threshers and cash & carry stores. A wooden display box with six different Riojas is the most expensive pack available, with an RRP of 50.

Port goes gold

The Port house Rozs has released its Gold 10 Year Old Tawny Port. It forms part of the house's Colours Collection trio of Ports, which includes a Red Reserve in a bright red bottle and a 7 Year Old White Port. The Gold Port comes in a bright, burnished gold bottle. Sarah Hicks, UK manager for Rozs, said: The innovative, unconventional packaging means the wines are visually striking and the Gold definitely looks, and tastes, festive.' It will retail at 19.99 in Selfridges.

Feuillatte flower power

Buy a bottle of Nicolas Feuillatte's Brut Rserve Particulire and it will come in a white gift tin, decorated with black flowers. The Rserve Particulire is a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay. It retails at 20 and the gift tin offer is only available from John Lewis department stores.

Torres tasting trial

Pendes winemaker Torres has produced a tasting pack for Waitrose customers this Christmas. The pack includes four 187ml bottles of different wines and an ISO tasting glass. Torres UK marketing manager Lorne Gray said: This presents the perfect opportunity for existing Torres consumers to trial wine that they may not have experienced before and for new consumers to experience the wines of Torres.' The pack retails at 10.99.

Christmas Port

From the 2001 LBV at 10.99 to the 40 Year Old Tawny at 75, Taylor's has produced a range of gift boxes for its Ports this Christmas, most of which are widely available. The most exclusive pack is the Century Collection, a limited-edition, velvet-lined black box containing a half-bottle each of 10, 20, 30 and 40 Year Old Tawny. It is available in Fortnum & Mason at 120.

Cool customer

Around Wine stocks a number of wine accessories different from the usual suspects, including the Wine Sceptre, a device that is stored in the freezer and inserted into a bottle of cold wine to maintain an ideal serving temperature.
