Memorial service to be held for friends and colleagues of beloved trade member, Ben Campbell-Johnston

A memorial service is being arranged for a much-loved member of the trade, Ben Campbell-Johnston, who sadly passed away at his home recently.

Friends and colleagues are invited to join Ben's wife, Kate Campbell-Johnston, on Thursday, November 24, in the family's hometown of Chiddingstone, Kent.

A service will be held for the popular Big Fortified Tasting (b.f.t.) co-founder from 2pm, followed by a gathering at the Rock Inn, which will be chance for former colleagues in the wine trade to celebrate his life and pay their respects.

This will follow a private service in the morning for close family.

Ben was a much-respected member of the trade, best known for his knowledge, love and support for and of fortified wines.

In recent years he was known for being the driving force behind the b.f.t., which he co-founded, along with Danny Cameron, as well as the sparkling wine event, Fizz.

Ben's friends and former colleagues from the wine trade are very welcome to attend the afternoon service later this month.

Details are as follows:

A memorial service will take place at 2pm on Thursday, November 24, at St. Mary's The Virgin Church, Chiddingstone, Kent, TN8 7AH.

All are then invited to a gathering at The Rock Inn, Chiddingstone Hoath, Kent, TN8 7BS.
