Majestic launches in-store promotion with Chandon and Formula 1

Majestic Wine is jumping behind the global partnership between Chandon sparkling Argentinian wine and the McLaren Honda Formula 1 Team with a month-long promotion to promote wine and British racing in-store.

Majestic Wine is jumping behind the global partnership between Chandon sparkling Argentinian wine and the McLaren Honda Formula 1 Team with a month-long promotion to promote wine and British racing in-store.

The merchant is ramping up its support of the partnership with a McLaren Honda Formula 1 car which will visit selected Majestic stores on four consecutive weekends from 11/12 June across the UK.

The McLaren Honda racing car will be touring the country making its way to Twickenham (11/12 June), Wirral (18/19 June), York (25/26 June) and St John's Wood (2/3 July).

Chandon is collaborating with the specialist wine retailer to mark the partnership with in-store activation across all 210 Majestic stores, with sampling and a promotion offering the chance to win a Chandon experience at Silverstone on July 10.

To be in with a chance of winning, Majestic Wine customers are being encouraged to take a selfie with one of the life-size, cardboard models of Formula 1 racing drivers, Jenson Button or Fernando Alonso in store.

Customers can also enter online by buying two or more bottles of Chandon from the Majestic online store during the promotional period.

Chandon is one of the brands of Moët Hennessy, which is part of the LVMH luxury retail group.

Majestic Wine is the UK's largest wine specialist, with over 200 stores across the UK and two stores in Calais.
