London tasting for Saint-Emilion 2015 vintage announced

The Association de Grands Crus Classés de Saint-Emilion will be bringing representatives of 38 châteaux to London for a tasting next month.

The tasting for press and trade only will take place on Wednesday, June 15 at Landing Forty Two in  the City of London.

Each chateau will be showcasing their latest 2015 vintage together with an older vintage of their choice.

The Association de Grands Crus Classés de Saint Emilion was formed in 1982 to promote the region and its wines and to help its winemakers drive towards ever greater quality control.

It currently represents some 56 châteaux, which collectively own around 800ha - or 90% of the Grands Crus Classés vineyards - in the region.

Estates exhibiting at the tasting are: Château Balestard La Tonnelle, Château Cap De Mourlin, Château Petit Faurie De Soutard, Château Bellefont-Belcier, Château Bellevue, Château Chauvin, Château Clos De Sarpe, Château Corbin, Clos Des Jacobins, Château La Commanderie, Couvent Des Jacobins, Château Dassault, Château Faurie De Souchard, Château De Ferrand, Château De Pressac, Château Destieux, Château Fleur Cardinale, Château Fonplegade, Château Fonroque, Château Grand Corbin, Château Grand Corbin-Despagne, Château Grand Pontet, Château Guadet, Château Haut Sarpe, Château Jean Faure, Château La Fleur Morange, Château La Marzelle, Château La Serre, Château La Tour Figeac, Château Larmande, Château Soutard, Château Laroque, Château Laroze, Château Le Prieure, Château Moulin Du Cadet, Château Sansonnet, Château Saint Georges Cote Pavie, and Château Yon Figeac.

The tasting takes place at Landing Forty Two, Leadenhall Building, 122 Leadenhall Street, London EC3V 4AB on Wednesday, June 15 between 10am and 4pm.
