Martin Miller's beats Jensen's to win Graphic Bar Gin-Off final

Martin Miller's Gin has won the inagural Gin-Off competition final held by London's Graphic Bar earlier this week.

After five previous rounds, the final came down to a head-to-head between Martin Miller's and Jensen's Gin.

Guests were given a polling card upon arrival, which which to vote on the two bespoke cocktails created especially for the event.

The winning cocktail - a Cucumber Nettle Gimlet - was created by Martin Miller's brand ambassador and expert mixologist Aidan Bowie.

The Martin Miller's team were awarded the Copper Still Trophy at the end of the evening.

The Cucumber Nettle Gimlet will now be listed on the Graphic Bar menu in 2016.

The competition launched in June with the participation of six other brands: Elephant Gin, East London Liquor Company, Whitley Neill Gin, Hayman's, Ophir, and Sipsmith.

Founded in 2013, the Graphic Bar in Golden Square features over 300 hundred gins from around the world.

It is one of the 12 key destinations on the London Gin trail, launched recently by the Wine & Spirits Trade Association.

Martin Miller's Gin is an independent British gin brand launched in 1999 by serial entrepreneur Martin Miller with partners David Bromige and Andreas Versteegh.

It uses Icelandic water and is produced through a unique two-stage distillation process.

Martin Miller died on Christmas Eve, 2013.
