The Consejo Regulador for Jerez has launched a revamped website to promote the Spanish region's famous drink under the Sherry Wines banner.
The site is part of a bid to create a global brand identity for Sherry and features "a wide range of innovative, inspiring ideas and information for chefs, sommeliers, Sherry-lovers and the wine trade".
Consejo Regulador director general Cesar Saldaña said: "The new website combines deep roots with a projection towards the future.
"We are appealing to a new generation of Sherry drinkers.
"Sherry is integrally tied-up with the culture of this region and Andalucia. There's lot of passion here and we want that to be part of our identity."
A main aim of the site is to position Sherry as a match for dishes of all kinds rather than just an aperitif.
Features include Sherry food pairings, cocktail ideas and a guide to on-trade venues that serve Sherry, including the UK.
