The innovation pipeline at Brewdog shows no sign of slowing down with the arrival of yet another on-trade concept.

The Scottish craft brewer has opened Two-Bit beneath its Brewdog bar in Bethnal Green Road in East London.

Its opening comes just days after Brewdog revealed plans for: a small site bar concept called Dogtap; a draught beer and shuffleboard bar under the name Shuffledog; a restaurant, bar and bottle shop to be known as Doghouse; and a hybrid coffee shop and craft beer bar called The Newington Fix.

Brewdog's expansion plans are being financed through the runaway success of its Equity For Punks crowdfunding programme.

The Two-Bit concept combines American craft beer and whiskey with vintage pinball machines and arcade games, including Space Invaders and Tron. These will also be a key element of its Shuffledog concept, the first of which is due to open in Leeds this month.

The American beer line-up at Two-Bit includes beers from Oskar Blues, Ballast Point, Almanac, Firestone Walker and Stone.

Brewdog co-founder James Watt said: "Our friends in the States have been an inspiration to Brewdog since our inception.

"We have great relationships with some of the most exciting, enigmatic brewers in America and it's awesome to be showcasing their wares in a dedicated bar.

"Two-Bit is the kind of bar I have always wanted to open. We love everything the craft beer landscape stands for in the US and it seems only fitting that we'd kit out an American beer-led bar with all the bright lights, bells, whistles and buzzers of classic arcade games."

Brewdog's expansion plans also include a brewery and chain of brewpubs in the US.
