The entry process for the Harpers Awards 2015 is well and truly underway with the opportunity for businesses and individuals from across the UK on and off-trades to receive recognition for their hard work and achievements.

The awards are now in to their fourth year and will once again bring together all parts of the UK wine trade to celebrate the very best in the UK wine and spirits industry. This year's awards will once again be held on the first night of the London Wine Fair, but in a new central London venue at London's Park Plaza in Victoria.

The Harpers Awards will once again be split in three main areas: the At Your Service awards covering the on-trade; Top Merchant awards for independent wine merchants; and overall Industry Awardscovering national drinks distributors, multiple and specialist and online retailers.

The on-trade categories will be judged by the Harpers On-trade Academy made up of leading on-trade experts, consultants, journalists, sommeliers, distributors and restaurateurs who will be asked to name those outlets and individuals they think are doing the most to raise standards in British hospitality.

The independent merchant and main industry awards are for self-nomination only and will be judged by separate industry panels made up of appropriate experts and trade figures relevant to that awards category.

There is a new award this year to recognise achievements within the regional wholesale industy.

Harpers will also name its own Special Achievement award to the individual it thinks has done the most to represent the UK wine and spirits industry in the last year.
