Global leaders head to London for Wine Vision 2014

Top names from the international world of wine will all be heading to London in November for the second Wine Vision event to be held by Harpers' publishers, William Reed Business Media.

Top names from the international world of wine will all be heading to London in November for the second Wine Vision event to be held by Harpers' publishers, William Reed Business Media.

The global event is targeted specifically at the key opinion formers and decisions makers of the international wine industry and is this year being hosted at London's Hurlingham Club between November  17-19.

Wine Vision will again address the key business issues and challenges facing the global industry with an agenda that has not only been compiled with the help of major executives around the world but will also be driven and presented by them over the event's three days.

Wine Vision 2015 will include presentations and debates featuring leading retailers, producers, economists, analysts, social media and marketing experts and entrepreneurs that have made their way in other sectors and are willing to share their learnings with the wine trade.

Key names confirmed to date include wine economist Jean-Guillaume Prats, Moett Hennessy, economist Mike Veseth, wine finance expert, Charles Banks, South African producer, Mike Ratcliffe of Warwick Wine Estate, Simon McMurtrie, Direct Wines, Dan Jago, Tesco, Anne Thysell, Spar Austria, Sara Norrell, Systembolget, Adrian Bridge, The Fladgate Partnership, Troy Christensen, Enotria, Robin Copestick, Copestick Murray, Kevin Shaw, Stranger & Stranger, David Schuemann, Napa Brand Design and Tyler Balliet, Wine Riot. Non wine trade speakers include business entrepreneur, Mike Greene, Sandra Taylor of Sustainable Business International, Jonny Forsyth, Mintel, Barry Clark, Future Foundation and Dominique Persoone of Chocolate Line. 

Wine Vision will also include keynote talks from sensory wine experts Professor Barry Smith and Professor Charles Spence who will examine the importance of taste and perceptions in what choices consumers make about wine.

There will also be chance to take part in networking dinners and receptions being held at The Shangri-La at the Shard and the Hurlingham Club
