2013

2 Good

1 Seeing Isla Negra become a top five (vol) brand in the UK.

2 Casillero del Diablo's Wine Legend campaign (which was seen by more than 19 million people) helping to grow CDD in both volume and value to number 12.

2013

Bad

1 Government excise duty continues to pose challenges for all involved in the UK wine industry.

2014

Hopes

1 The growth in wines over £6 in the UK retail is really positive.

2 Concha y Toro's increased and focused investment in the UK seeing some really positive returns for Chile and in particular Argentina, where there are real signs of sustained category growth.

Fears

If the government decides to extend the excise duty escalator beyond 2014.
